LAWN AERATION

Lawn aeration provides many benefits to your turf.  Aeration improves the activity of soil microorganisms that decompose thatch; increases water, nutrient and oxygen movement into the soil; encourages deeper rooting; and helps prevent runoff of fertilizer and pesticides. The best time to aerate is during periods of rapid growth, which for cool season grasses like bluegrasses, fescue, ryegrass and buffalograss is in the spring and fall of the year.  For warm weather grasses like bentgrass and zoysiagrass, summer, is the best time to aerate.

SERVICE PROVIDED

This work includes aeration of the turf utilizing a coring machine that deposits the plugs onto your soil.

REQUIREMENTS OF HOMEOWNER

Provide access for lawn aeration.  Notify A-1 Home Helper of any lines that may be buried shallow in your yard so as to prevent damage to them.  A-1 Home Helper does not take responsibility for damage to shallowly buried lines not identified. Please mark all sprinker heads. For best results, if your lawn is not already saturated, water you lawn. Relax, as you can be assured of a professional lawn aeration service!
